Linearization functions as Allen Bradley's RSLogix scale with parameters instruction or Unitronics linearization. You can use this app to see what happens to your numerical output when your input changes. You can also use this to troubleshoot your analog signals to your controller or your drive. For example, if a drive reacts from 20Hz to 60Hz across the range of a 4-20mA or 0-10VDC analog input you can input these values and see what hertz the drive would be at when the analog input is at a certain value. Scale raw data to engineering units or vice versa, this tool is very useful for the engineering world.
